Muscle Physiology and Repair Lab
About
The SDSU Muscle Physiology and Repair Lab is interested in understanding locomotor and respiratory muscle contractile and regenerative functions in response to exercise, training, supplemental strategies, and inflammatory diseases. We use a variety of physiological, biochemical, and genetic approaches in experimental animals to assess exercise tolerance; muscle and single-myofiber force production; fatigue resistance; metabolism; atrophy/hypertrophy; and stem/progenitor cell proliferation and fate.
